* Create an environment of learning, mentoring, and empowerment to promote employee safety engagement.

* Help develop safety policies and procedures that keep staff safe while allowing completion of work within an acceptable timeframe.

* Conduct audits and review existing health and safety policies.

* Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and conclusions.

* Monitor results of safety policies and programs to make improvements or take corrective action.

* Conduct organizational need assessments while identifying skill and knowledge gaps where training is needed.

* Ensure company safety training meets the needs of our growing internal and external requirements and complies with Cal OSHA standards.

* Take a lead role in incident investigations.

* Design effective training programs.

* Collect, review, and document JSA's as well as update as necessary.

* Develop safety meeting topics.

* Oversee that OSHA logs are being kept and updated.

* Oversee that Worker's Comp Claims are being processed in a timely manner

Bolier or HVAC experience is a plus!
